حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ مِكْرَزٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْر
َةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ رَجُلٌ يُرِيدُ الْجِهَادَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ يَبْتَغِي مِنْ عَرَضِ الدُّنْيَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا أَجْرَ لَهُ فَأَعْظَمَ النَّاسُ ذَلِكَ وَقَالُوا لِلرَّجُلِ عُدْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَعَلَّهُ لَمْ يَفْقَهْ فَأَعَادَ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ كُلَّ ذَلِكَ يَقُولُ لَا أَجْرَ لَهُ

English Translation
Husayn ibn Muhammad narrated to us who (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to us, from al-Qasim ibn 'Abbas, from Bukayr ibn 'Abdullah ibn al-Ashajj, from Yazid ibn Mu'awiyah, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The prayer in congregation is twenty-five times more virtuous than the prayer of one of you alone. The angels of the night and the angels of the day meet at the Fajr prayer.' Abu Hurayrah said: 'Recite if you wish: Indeed, the recitation at dawn is ever witnessed.'
