Chain of Narration (Isnad)

حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الْعَلَاءُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ

Body (Matn)

سَلَّمَ قَالَ تَدْرُونَ مَنْ الْمُفْلِسُ قَالُوا الْمُفْلِسُ فِينَا مَنْ لَا دِرْهَمَ لَهُ وَلَا مَتَاعَ قَالَ إِنَّ الْمُفْلِسَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَأْتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِصَلَاةٍ وَصِيَامٍ وَزَكَاةٍ وَيَأْتِي قَدْ شَتَمَ هَذَا وَقَذَفَ هَذَا وَأَكَلَ مَالَ هَذَا وَسَفَكَ دَمَ هَذَا وَضَرَبَ هَذَا فَيُقْضَى هَذَا مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهِ وَهَذَا مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهِ فَإِنْ فَنِيَتْ حَسَنَاتُهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقْضِيَ مَا عَلَيْهِ أُخِذَ مِنْ خَطَايَاهُمْ فَطُرِحَتْ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ طُرِحَ فِي النَّارِ

English Translation

Sulayman narrated to us who (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that isma'il narrated to us who said: Al-'Ala' informed me, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'The world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the disbeliever.'
