حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَ

لَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ فَأُرِيدُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ أَخْتَبِئَ دَعْوَتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي

English Translation

'Ali ibn Bahr narrated to us, Hisham ibn Yusuf narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'While a man was walking on a road, he found a thorny branch and removed it. Allah appreciated his action and forgave him.'
