English Translation
Yunus narrated to us, Layth narrated to us, from Yazid, from Ibn Shihab, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'When the Imam says: Sami' Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears the one who praises Him), then say: Allahumma Rabbana wa laka al-hamd (O Allah, our Lord, to You is the praise). For whoever's saying coincides with the saying of the angels, all his past sins will be forgiven.'
