حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى عَنْ

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَجَاوَزَ لِأُمَّتِي عَمَّا حَدَّثَتْ بِهِ أَنْفُسَهَا مَا لَمْ تُكَلِّمْ بِهِ أَوْ تَعْمَلْ بِهِ

English Translation
Abu Nu'aym narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Zurarah ibn Awfa, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'Allah has overlooked for my ummah what their souls whisper to them, as long as they do not act upon it or speak of it.'
