English Translation

Abu Nu'aym narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Qatadah, from al-Hasan, from Abu Rafi', from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'When any one of you leads the people in prayer, let him make it short, for among them are the young, the elderly, and those who have needs. And when any one of you prays alone, let him pray as long as he wishes.'
