حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي شَرِيكٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي نَمِرٍ عَن
ْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَيْسَ الْمِسْكِينُ الَّذِي تَرُدُّهُ التَّمْرَةُ أَوْ التَّمْرَتَانِ أَوْ اللُّقْمَةُ وَاللُّقْمَتَانِ إِنَّ الْمِسْكِينَ الْمُتَعَفِّفُ اقْرَءُوا إِنْ شِئْتُمْ { لَا يَسْأَلُونَ النَّاسَ إِلْحَافًا }

English Translation
Sulayman ibn Dawud narrated to us, Isma'il, meaning Ibn Ja'far, informed us, he said Sharik, meaning Ibn Abi Namir, informed me, from Ata' ibn Yasar, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Every Prophet has a supplication that is answered, and every Prophet hastened his supplication. But I have hidden my supplication as intercession for my ummah on the Day of Resurrection. It will reach, if Allah wills, whoever dies from my ummah without associating anything with Allah.'
