Hadith #151

English Translation

Ya'qub narrated to us, he said my father narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, he said Khubayb ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Khubayb al-Ansari narrated to me, from Hafs ibn Asim ibn Umar ibn al-Khattab, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There are seven whom Allah will shade on a day when there is no shade except His shade: a just imam; a youth who grew up in the worship of Allah (عز وجل); a man whose heart is attached to the mosques; two men who love each other for the sake of Allah, meeting and parting upon that; a man who is called by a woman of beauty and position and he says: "I fear Allah"; a man who gives charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand gives; and a man who remembers Allah in seclusion and his eyes overflow with tears.'
