حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَ

الَ أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ إِذَا رَجَعَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ أَنْ يَجِدَ ثَلَاثَ خَلِفَاتٍ عِظَامٍ سِمَانٍ قَالَ قُلْنَا نَعَمْ قَالَ فَثَلَاثُ آيَاتٍ يَقْرَأُ بِهِنَّ فِي الصَّلَاةِ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْهُنَّ

English Translation

Mu'awiyah ibn Amr narrated to us, he said Za'idah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'When the son of Adam dies, his deeds cease except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who supplicates for him.'
