حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ يَزِيدَ بْنَ الْأَصَمِّ قَالَ كُنْتُ بِالْمَدِينَةِ مَعَ مَرْوَانَ ب
ْنِ الْحَكَمِ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فَمَرَّتْ بِهِمَا جِنَازَةٌ فَقَامَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَلَمْ يَقُمْ مَرْوَانُ فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّتْ بِهِ جِنَازَةٌ فَقَامَ فَقَامَ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ مَرْوَانُ

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said Shu'bah narrated to us, from Jabir, he said I heard Yazid ibn al-Asamm, he said: I was in Madinah with Marwan ibn al-Hakam when we heard a man at the minbar of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ narrating from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said: 'By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, the Hour will not come until the sun rises from its place of setting. On the day it rises, all people will believe, but that is when "no soul will benefit from its faith if it had not believed before" [6:158].'
