English Translation

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ziyad, who said: I heard Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) saying: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When one of you is brought food by his servant, if he does not seat him with him, then let him hand him a morsel or two — Shu'bah was uncertain — for he is the one who endured its preparation and its heat.'
