Hadith #302
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ أَخَذَ تَمْرَةً مِنْ تَمْرِ الصَّدَقَةِ فَجَعَلَهَا فِي فِيهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كِخْ كِخْ أَلْقِهَا أَمَا شَعَرْتَ أَنَّا أَهْلَ بَيْتٍ لَا نَأْكُلُ الصَّدَقَةَ

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ziyad, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), that al-Hasan took a date from the dates of charity and put it in his mouth. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: 'Kikh, kikh! Spit it out! Do you not know that we, the people of the household, do not eat from charity?'
