حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ذَكْوَانَ أَبَا صَالِحٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الل
َّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ رَآنِي فِي الْمَنَامِ فَقَدْ رَآنِي إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَا يَتَصَوَّرُ بِي قَالَ شُعْبَةُ أَوْ قَالَ لَا يَتَشَبَّهُ بِي وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu Hasin, who said: I heard Dhakwan Abu Salih narrating from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever sees me in a dream has truly seen me, for the Shaytan cannot assume my form' — Shu'bah said: or he said, 'cannot resemble me' — 'and whoever deliberately lies about me, let him take his seat in the Fire.'
