English Translation
Affan narrated to us, Wuhayb narrated to us, Suhayl narrated to us, from a man, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet ﷺ heard a sound and asked: 'What is this?' They said: 'Palm trees being pollinated.' He said: 'If they were to leave it, it would be better' — or he said: 'it would be fine.' So they left it, and the dates turned out shriveled. He said: 'I am only a human. When I command you with something regarding your religion, take it. And when I command you with something from my opinion, then I am only a human.'
