حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ عَنِ ابْنِ حُجَيْرَةَ عَن
ْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ لِلْمَسَاجِدِ أَوْتَادًا الْمَلَائِكَةُ جُلَسَاؤُهُمْ إِنْ غَابُوا يَفْتَقِدُونَهُمْ وَإِنْ مَرِضُوا عَادُوهُمْ وَإِنْ كَانُوا فِي حَاجَةٍ أَعَانُوهُمْ

English Translation
Qutaybah narrated to us, he said: Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, from Darraj, from Ibn Hujayrah, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: 'The mosques have pillars (devoted worshippers). The angels are their companions. If they are absent, the angels miss them. If they fall ill, the angels visit them. And if they are in need, the angels assist them.'
