حَدَّثَنَا غَسَّانُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أ
َيُّوبَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ عَبْدِي وَأَمَتِي وَلَا يَقُولَنَّ الْمَمْلُوكُ رَبِّي وَرَبَّتِي لِيَقُلْ الْمَالِكُ فَتَايَ وَفَتَاتِي وَلْيَقُلْ الْمَمْلُوكُ سَيِّدِي وَسَيِّدَتِي فَإِنَّهُمْ الْمَمْلُوكُونَ وَالرَّبُّ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

English Translation
Ghassan ibn al-Rabi' narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us from Ayyub, from Ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Prophet ﷺ said: "None of you should say 'my slave' (abdi) and 'my slave-girl' (amati), and the owned person should not say 'my lord' (rabbi) and 'my lady' (rabbati). Rather, the owner should say 'my young man' (fataya) and 'my young woman' (fatati), and the owned person should say 'my master' (sayyidi) and 'my mistress' (sayyidati), for they are the owned ones, and the Lord is Allah (عز وجل)."
