قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْحَمِيرِ فِيهَا زَكَاةٌ فَقَالَ
مَا جَاءَنِي فِيهَا شَيْءٌ إِلَّا هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ الْفَاذَّةُ { مَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ }

English Translation
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, he said: Suhayl narrated to us from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about donkeys — whether there is zakah on them. He said: "Nothing has come to me regarding them except this unique verse: 'Whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.'" (Quran 99:7-8)
