English Translation
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I have been tempted not to stay behind from any expedition that goes out in the cause of Allah, yet I do not have the means to provide them mounts. And I would have loved to be killed in the cause of Allah, then brought back to life, then killed, then brought back to life, then killed."
