حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَيَّانَ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ الل
َّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا فَذَكَرَ الْغُلُولَ فَعَظَّمَهُ وَعَظَّمَ أَمْرَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَا أُلْفِيَنَّ يَجِيءُ أَحَدُكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى رَقَبَتِهِ بَعِيرٌ لَهُ رُغَاءٌ فَيَقُولُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَغِثْنِي فَأَقُولُ لَا أَمْلِكُ لَكَ شَيْئًا قَدْ أَبْلَغْتُكَ لَا أُلْفِيَنَّ يَجِيءُ أَحَدُكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى رَقَبَتِهِ شَاةٌ لَهَا ثُغَاءٌ فَيَقُولُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَغِثْنِي فَأَقُولُ لَا أَمْلِكُ لَكَ شَيْئًا قَدْ أَبْلَغْتُكَ لَا أُلْفِيَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ يَجِيءُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى رَقَبَتِهِ فَرَسٌ لَهُ حَمْحَمَةٌ فَيَقُولُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَغِثْنِي فَأَقُولُ لَا أَمْلِكُ لَكَ شَيْئًا قَدْ أَبْلَغْتُكَ لَا أُلْفِيَنَّ يَجِيءُ أَحَدُكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى رَقَبَتِهِ نَفْسٌ لَهَا صِيَاحٌ فَيَقُولُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَغِثْنِي فَأَقُولُ لَا أَمْلِكُ لَكَ شَيْئًا قَدْ أَبْلَغْتُكَ لَا أُلْفِيَنَّ يَجِيءُ أَحَدُكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى رَقَبَتِهِ رِقَاعٌ تَخْفِقُ فَيَقُولُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَغِثْنِي فَأَقُولُ لَا أَمْلِكُ لَكَ شَيْئًا قَدْ أَبْلَغْتُكَ لَا أُلْفِيَنَّ يَجِيءُ أَحَدُكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى رَقَبَتِهِ صَامِتٌ فَيَقُولُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَغِثْنِي فَأَقُولُ لَا أَمْلِكُ لَكَ شَيْئًا قَدْ أَبْلَغْتُكَ

English Translation
Isma'il narrated to us, Abu Hayyan narrated to us from Abu Zur'ah ibn 'Amr ibn Jarir, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us one day and mentioned ghulul (stealing from war booty), warning severely against it. Then he said: "Let me not find any of you coming on the Day of Resurrection with a camel on his neck, bellowing, saying: 'O Messenger of Allah, help me!' and I will say: 'I have no power to help you. I conveyed the message to you.' Let me not find any of you coming on the Day of Resurrection with a sheep on his neck, bleating, saying: 'O Messenger of Allah, help me!' and I will say: 'I have no power to help you. I conveyed the message to you.' Let me not find any of you coming on the Day of Resurrection with a horse on his neck, neighing, saying: 'O Messenger of Allah, help me!' and I will say: 'I have no power to help you. I conveyed the message to you.' Let me not find any of you coming on the Day of Resurrection with a person on his neck, crying out, saying: 'O Messenger of Allah, help me!' and I will say: 'I have no power to help you. I conveyed the message to you.' Let me not find any of you coming on the Day of Resurrection with garments fluttering on his neck, saying: 'O Messenger of Allah, help me!' and I will say: 'I have no power to help you. I conveyed the message to you.' Let me not find any of you coming on the Day of Resurrection with gold and silver on his neck, saying: 'O Messenger of Allah, help me!' and I will say: 'I have no power to help you. I conveyed the message to you.'"
