‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ ‏ ‏

قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏أَبُو عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيُّ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ فَيُنَادِيَ أَنْ لَا صَلَاةَ إِلَّا بِقِرَاءَةِ ‏ ‏فَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ ‏ ‏فَمَا زَادَ ‏

English Translation

Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us from Ja'far ibn Maymun, he said: Abu 'Uthman al-Nahdi narrated to us from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded him to go out and announce: "There is no prayer except with the recitation of al-Fatihah and whatever is added to it."
