Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, he said: 'Ajlan, the freed slave of al-Mushma'ill, narrated to me, he said: I heard Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "Do not exchange insults while you are fasting. If a person insults you, say: 'I am fasting.'"
