حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا

أَبُو سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لَأَمَرْتُهُمْ بِالسِّوَاكِ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ أَوْ مَعَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ

English Translation
Yahya narrated to us from Muhammad ibn 'Amr, he said: Abu Salamah narrated to us from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Were it not that I would cause difficulty for my ummah, I would have commanded them to use the siwak (tooth-stick) with every prayer — or at every prayer."
