Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عَوْفٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خِلَاسٌ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْر
Body (Matn)
َةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَعُودُ فِي هِبَتِهِ مَثَلُ الْكَلْبِ إِذَا شَبِعَ قَاءَ ثُمَّ عَادَ فِي قَيْئِهِ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Yahya narrated to us from 'Awf, he said: Khilas narrated to us from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "The example of the one who takes back his gift is like the dog that eats until it is full, then vomits, and then goes back to eat its vomit."
