حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ قَالَ كَانَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ يَمُرُّ بِنَا وَنَحْنُ نَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ الْم
َطْهَرَةِ فَيَقُولُ لَنَا أَسْبِغُوا الْوُضُوءَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ مِنْ النَّارِ قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ الْعَقِبِ

English Translation
Yahya narrated to us from Shu'bah, he said: Muhammad ibn Ziyad narrated to us — and Hajjaj said: Shu'bah narrated to us from Muhammad ibn Ziyad — who said: Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) used to pass by us while we were performing wudu from the water basin, and he would say to us: "Perform your wudu thoroughly, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'Woe to the heels from the Fire.'" Hajjaj said: "the heel" (singular).
