حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنْ
Body (Matn)
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ صُومُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ وَأَفْطِرُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَأَكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ ثَلَاثِينَ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us from Shu'bah, he said: Muhammad ibn Ziyad narrated to us from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "Fast upon sighting it (the crescent moon) and break your fast upon sighting it. If it is obscured from you, then complete the count as thirty."
