حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدٌ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ

وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّ النِّسَاءِ خَيْرٌ قَالَ الَّتِي تَسُرُّهُ إِذَا نَظَرَ إِلَيْهَا وَتُطِيعُهُ إِذَا أَمَرَ وَلَا تُخَالِفُهُ فِيمَا يَكْرَهُ فِي نَفْسِهَا وَلَا فِي مَالِهِ

English Translation

Yahya narrated to us from Ibn 'Ajlan, he said: Sa'id narrated to me from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said — the Prophet ﷺ was asked: "Which women are the best?" He said: "The one who pleases him when he looks at her, obeys him when he commands, and does not go against his wishes regarding herself or his wealth."
