حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ
عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّاسُ تَبَعٌ لِقُرَيْشٍ فِي هَذَا الشَّأْنِ خِيَارُهُمْ أَتْبَاعٌ لِخِيَارِهِمْ وَشِرَارُهُمْ أَتْبَاعٌ لِشِرَارِهِمْ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to us, he said: al-Qasim narrated to us from Nafi' ibn Jubayr, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "In this matter (leadership), people are followers of Quraysh. The best of them follow the best of Quraysh, and the worst of them follow the worst of Quraysh."
