English Translation

Yahya narrated to us from 'Abd al-Malik, from 'Ata', from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ: "Allah has one hundred mercies. He sent down one mercy among mankind, jinn, and creatures. By it they show compassion to one another, by it they show mercy to one another, and by it wild animals show tenderness to their young. He reserved ninety-nine for the Day of Resurrection, with which He will show mercy to His servants."
