English Translation
Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, Jarir ibn Hazim narrated to us, he said Jarir ibn Zayd, my uncle, narrated to us, he said: I was sitting with Salim ibn Abdullah at the door of his house, and he said: Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated to us — and his Lord knows best about him — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The last to enter Paradise will be a man who will walk on the Sirat once and stumble once and be burned by the Fire once. When he crosses it, he will turn back to it and say: "Blessed is He who has saved me from you. Allah has given me something He has not given anyone from the first or the last." Then a tree will be raised for him and he will say: "O Lord, bring me close to this tree so I may take shade under it and drink from its water."'
