حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ فَإِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ فَأَ

يُّمَا مُسْلِمٍ لَعَنْتُهُ أَوْ آذَيْتُهُ فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ زَكَاةً وَقُرْبَةً حَدَّثَنَاهُ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ زَكَاةً وَرَحْمَةً

English Translation

Aswad narrated to us, Isra'il narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'While a man was walking on a road, he found a thorny branch on the road and removed it. Allah appreciated his action and forgave him.'
