حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُخْتَارِ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ

يَعْنِي ابْنَ فَيْرُوزَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو رَافِعٍ الصَّائِغُ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ثَلَاثَةٌ حَفِظْتُهُنَّ عَنْ خَلِيلِي أَبِي الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْوَتْرُ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ وَصَوْمُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَرَكْعَتَيْ الضُّحَى

English Translation

Yunus narrated to us, Abd al-Aziz, meaning Ibn al-Mukhtar al-Ansari, narrated to us, from Abdullah, meaning Ibn Fayruz, he said Abu Rafi' al-Sa'igh narrated to us, he said: I said: 'O Abu Hurayrah, I heard you giving fatwa with something; do you narrate it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?' He said: 'Yes. What is that?' I said: 'You say that whoever catches one rak'ah of the prayer has caught it.' He said: 'I say: whoever catches one rak'ah of the prayer before the imam gives the salam has caught the prayer. And it is from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.'
