English Translation

Waki' narrated to us, who said: Usamah ibn Zayd narrated to us from Sa'id al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: A man came to the Prophet ﷺ intending to travel and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, advise me.' He ﷺ said: 'I advise you with taqwa of Allah and saying the takbir at every elevated place.' When the man departed, he ﷺ said: 'O Allah, shorten the earth for him and make the journey easy for him.'
