Waki' narrated to us, who said: Usamah ibn Zayd narrated to us from Ba'jah ibn 'Abd Allah al-Juhani, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There will come upon people a time when the best of them will be at the level of a man who holds the reins of his horse in the cause of Allah — whenever he hears a call to arms, he mounts its back and seeks death in its likely places — and a man in a mountain pass among these mountain passes, establishing the prayer, paying the zakah, and leaving people alone except for good.'
