حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ الْمَعْنَى أ
َنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ أَخَذَ تَمْرَةً مِنْ تَمْرِ الصَّدَقَةِ فَلَاكَهَا فِي فِيهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كِخْ كِخْ فَإِنَّا لَا تَحِلُّ لَنَا الصَّدَقَةُ

English Translation
Waki' narrated to us, who said: Shu'bah narrated to us from Muhammad ibn Ziyad, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) — and 'Abd al-Rahman from Shu'bah from Muhammad ibn Ziyad who said: I heard Abu Hurayrah — with the same meaning — that the Prophet ﷺ saw al-Hasan ibn 'Ali (رضي الله عنهما) take a date from the charity dates and chew it in his mouth. the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Kikh, kikh! (Spit it out!) For charity is not permissible for us.'
