Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ م
ُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ جَاءَ مُشْرِكُو قُرَيْشٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُخَاصِمُونَهُ فِي الْقَدَرِ فَنَزَلَتْ { يَوْمَ يُسْحَبُونَ فِي النَّارِ عَلَى وُجُوهِهِمْ ذُوقُوا مَسَّ سَقَرَ إِنَّا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَاهُ بِقَدَرٍ }

English Translation
Waki' narrated to us, who said: Sufyan narrated to us from Ziyad ibn Isma'il, from Muhammad ibn 'Abbad ibn Ja'far, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: The polytheists of Quraysh came to the Prophet ﷺ disputing with him about the divine decree (al-qadar). Then the verse was revealed: {The Day they will be dragged into the Fire on their faces, 'Taste the touch of Saqar. Indeed, all things We created with predestination'} [54:48-49].
