English Translation
Waki' narrated to us, who said: 'Uthman ibn Waqid — meaning al-'Umari — narrated to me from Kidam ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami, from Abu Kibash, who said: I brought young sheep to al-Madinah and they did not sell well. I met Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) and asked him. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'What an excellent — or what a fine — sacrifice is the jadha'ah (young sheep) from the sheep.' So the people rushed to buy them.
