Waki' narrated to us, who said: Malik ibn Anas narrated to us from Sumayy, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Travel is a piece of punishment. It deprives one of sleep and food. So when one of you has fulfilled his need from his journey, let him hasten back to his family.'
