English Translation
Waki' narrated to us, who said: Sa'dan al-Juhani narrated to us from Abu Mujahid al-Ta'i, from Abu Mudillah, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: We said: 'O Messenger of Allah, tell us about Paradise. What is it built of?' He ﷺ said: 'A brick of gold and a brick of silver. Its mortar is the finest musk, its pebbles are rubies and pearls, and its soil is saffron and wars (a fragrant plant). Whoever enters it lives forever and never dies, enjoys bliss and never suffers misery. Their youth never fades and their garments never wear out.'
