حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ

عَنْ شَيْخٍ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ يُخَيَّرُ الرَّجُلُ فِيهِ بَيْنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْفُجُورِ فَلْيَخْتَرْ الْعَجْزَ عَلَى الْفُجُورِ

English Translation
Waki' narrated to us from Sufyan, from Dawud ibn Abi Hind, from a shaykh who heard Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) say: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There will come upon people a time when a man will be given the choice between incapacity and immorality, so let him choose incapacity over immorality.'
