English Translation

With the same chain of narration, he said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The Fire and Paradise disputed with one another. The Fire said: 'The tyrants and the arrogant enter me.' Paradise said: 'The weak and the destitute enter me.' Allah (عز وجل) said to the Fire: 'You are My punishment; I take vengeance through you upon whomever I will.' And He said to Paradise: 'You are My mercy; I bestow mercy through you upon whomever I will.'"
