Yahya narrated to us from Ibn Abi 'Arubah, who said: Qatadah narrated to us from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Adam, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'the Prophet ﷺs are paternal brothers; their religion is one but their mothers are different. I am the closest of people to 'Isa ibn Maryam, for there was no prophet between me and him. He will descend, so when you see him, recognize him: he is a man of medium build, reddish-white complexion, with straight hair, as though his head is dripping even though it has not been touched by water, wearing two garments dyed with saffron. He will break the cross, kill the swine, abolish the jizyah, and nullify all religions until Allah destroys in his time all religions except Islam. Allah will destroy in his time the Masih al-Dajjal, the lying one. Security will descend upon the earth until camels graze alongside lions, leopards alongside cattle, wolves alongside sheep, and children play with snakes without any of them harming the other. He will remain as long as Allah wills, then he will pass away, and the Muslims will pray over him and bury him.' 'Abd al-Wahhab narrated to us from Hisham, from Qatadah, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Adam, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'the Prophet ﷺs...' and he mentioned the same meaning, except that he said: '...until there is destroyed in his time the Masih of misguidance, the one-eyed liar.' Husayn narrated to us in the tafsir of Shayban, from Qatadah, who said: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Adam narrated to us from Abu Hurayrah who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: and he mentioned the hadith.
