English Translation

Hajjaj narrated to us, and Yazid narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhi'b informed us, from Sa'id al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: "I am the one among you whose prayer most resembles the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he said 'sami'allahu liman hamidah' (Allah hears the one who praises Him), would say 'Allahumma rabbana wa lakal-hamd' (O Allah, our Lord, to You belongs all praise)." They both said: And he would say takbir when bowing, when rising from prostration, and when raising his head from the two prostrations."
