حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَ

ةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ قَالَ لِصَبِيٍّ تَعَالَ هَاكَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يُعْطِهِ فَهِيَ كَذْبَةٌ

English Translation

Hajjaj narrated to us, he said: Layth narrated to us, he said: 'Uqayl narrated to me, from Ibn Shihab, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said: "Whoever says to a child, 'Come here, take this,' and then does not give him anything, it is counted as a lie."
