Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا يُوطِنُ رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ الْمَسَاجِدَ لِلصَّلَاةِ وَالذِّكْرِ إِلَّا تَبَشْبَشَ اللَّهُ بِهِ يَعْنِي حِينَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ كَمَا يَتَبَ
شْبَشُ أَهْلُ الْغَائِبِ بِغَائِبِهِمْ إِذَا قَدِمَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

English Translation
Hajjaj narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhi'b informed us, from Sa'id al-Maqburi, from Sa'id ibn Yasar, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "No Muslim man regularly frequents the mosques for prayer and remembrance of Allah except that Allah becomes joyful over him, just as the family of an absent person becomes joyful when their absent one returns to them." Hajjaj narrated to us, he said: Layth narrated to us, he said: Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id narrated to me, from Abu 'Ubaydah, from Sa'id ibn Yasar, that he heard Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) saying: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said — and he mentioned the same.
