English Translation
Hajjaj narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to us, from Sa'id al-Maqburi, from his father, that he heard Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) saying: Were it not for two things, I would have loved to be an owned slave, for the owned slave cannot dispose of his wealth as he wishes. That is because I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "Allah has not created a slave who fulfills the right of Allah and the right of his master except that Allah will give him his reward twice."
