حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ زِيَادٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ قَالَ فَقَالَ عُكَّاشَةُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ادْعُ الل
َّهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ مِنْهُمْ قَالَ فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ آخَرُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ قَالَ فَقَالَ سَبَقَكَ بِهَا عُكَّاشَةُ

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: I heard Muhammad ibn Ziyad saying: I heard Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "Seventy thousand of my ummah will enter Paradise without reckoning." 'Ukkashah said: "O Messenger of Allah, ask Allah to make me among them." the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O Allah, make him among them." Then another man stood and said: "O Messenger of Allah, ask Allah to make me among them." He said: "'Ukkashah has beaten you to it."
