Chain of Narration (Isnad)

‏ ‏وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ ‏ ‏عَنْ النَّبِيِّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏أَنَّهُ

قَالَ ‏ ‏إِذَا دَعَا أَحَدُكُمْ فَلَا يَقُولَنَّ اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ شِئْتَ وَلَكِنْ ‏ ‏لِيُعْظِمْ رَغْبَتَهُ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يَتَعَاظَمُ عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ أَعْطَاهُ ‏

English Translation

With the same chain of narration, from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "When one of you supplicates, let him not say 'O Allah, if You will,' but let him be resolute in his asking, for nothing that Allah gives is too great for Him."
