بِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَسْتَامُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى سَوْمِ أَخِيهِ وَلَا يَخْطُبُ عَلَى خِطْبَتِهِ

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: I heard al-'Ala' narrating from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "A man should not bid against the bidding of his brother, nor should he propose marriage over the proposal of his brother."
