حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَأَبُو النَّضْرِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أ

َبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَةً مِنْ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ الصَّلَاةَ وَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ مِنْ الْعَصْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغِيبَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ الصَّلَاةَ

English Translation

Muhammad ibn Ja'far and Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, they said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "Whoever catches one rak'ah of the Fajr prayer before the sun rises has caught the prayer. And whoever catches two rak'ahs of 'Asr before the sun sets has caught the prayer."
