Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي شِمْرٍ الضُّبَعِيِّ قَال
َ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي بِثَلَاثٍ الْوَتْرِ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ وَرَكْعَتَيْ الضُّحَى وَصَوْمِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu Shimr al-Duba'i, who said: I heard Abu 'Uthman al-Nahdi narrating from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: "My close friend (khalili, the Prophet ﷺ) advised me with three things: praying Witr before sleeping, praying two rak'ahs of Duha, and fasting three days of every month."
